When Everybody Smiles

A friend once told me about a particular day which happened two weeks ago when she felt really good inside.

It's like this.

She had to get up very early in the morning to go to a seminar that she had paid to attend. She was a bit groggy after having just a few hours of sleep. Her body was still sleepy and her mind was not energized still.

When she got out of her house, she flagged a taxi, got it, told the driver where she wanted to go and she prepared herself for a quiet trip. But she didn't get that.

The driver turned out to be very talkative. Not the intrusive type of person who asks personal questions. He just loved to talk about almost anything. And he was always smiling while he was talking.

My friend enjoyed the talk and the company of the driver so she welcome the conversation. It was a very warm experience.

She actually felt disappointed when it only took them 20 minutes to reach her destination. She wanted more time to talk. When I asked her what they talked about, she couldn't even remember.

All she remembered was the driver was always smiling. It's the smile that really hooked her and made her welcome such a conversation with a stranger.

I thought that was really nice. How I wish all the people that we meet are always smiling.

Love Is In the Air

I can smell the fragrance of love now that it is flowing so beautifully in the air. February has already started and within just two weeks it would be Valentine's Day once again. It's time to see lovely girls holding bouquets of roses and boxes of sweet, sweet chocolates.

Sweet!

It would also mean that the fine restaurants would all be reserved and that there would be some marriage proposals going on within this month, more probably during the 14th.

It's so great to be in this month of love.
